Hello there, my name is Jon Charles (J.C. for short) and I’m a freelance photographer based in Flatbush, Brooklyn. If you have a look around the site, hopefully you’ll be able to tell that I truly love the art form of photography.

What I bring to a headshot or portrait session are solid technical skills combined with an easy going and comfortable energy on the set. I find that a little banter combined with good lighting choices and simple direction results in portraits that reflect your personality in an engaging and effective way.

I use one or two lights, a reflector, and sometimes a gray or blue backdrop to create headshots for artists, actors, and business people. I can bring my mobile rig to you and be set up in fifteen minutes, or you can pop in to my Flatbush location during business hours.
